November is a special month for Rotarians worldwide as we celebrate The Rotary Foundation—our organization’s engine for doing good in the world. The Foundation began in 1917, when then Rotary President Arch Klumph proposed setting up an endowment “for the purpose of doing good in the world.” That simple idea has grown into one of the world’s most respected and impactful charitable foundations. These funding projects have changed the lives of millions and countless communities across the globe.

This year, we are thrilled to share some exciting news: After setting an ambitious goal back in 2017 to increase The Rotary Foundation’s endowment fund to $2.025 billion by 2025, we are proud to announce that we have achieved and exceeded this milestone in just eight years! Now, the endowment fund sits at $2.050 billion, more than doubling its size from when the goal was set! This incredible accomplishment is thanks to the generosity of Rotarians like you—your personal giving, combined with the collective power of our global network, truly shows what we can achieve when we unite for good.

District 5400 has even more to celebrate. We are currently ranked 15th in the world out of over 500 districts and 2nd in our Zone for our contributions so far this year! This is a testament to the incredible commitment and generosity of our members. Let’s keep up the great work!

If you haven’t yet contributed, or if you’d like to do even more, it’s easier than ever to support The Rotary Foundation. Simply sign up for Rotary Direct by calling 1-866-9ROTARY. Remember, the true Power of Rotary is realized when we all follow this year’s theme and “Unite for Good.”

Thank you so much for all of your dedication and generosity.
