The Nampa Club was proud to join the Boys & Girls Club of Canyon County and Panda Cares at the grand opening of a new teen center at the Centennial School site in south Nampa.
Earlier this fall, Nampa Rotarians spent two days painting and assembling furniture for the two-room center, which provides a safe, welcoming space for teens from nearby Nampa High School. At the center, teens will receive mentoring, homework assistance, and guidance in engaging in fun, healthy activities.

A district grant helped fund supplies, including board games, crafts, a microwave, air fryers, food preparation utensils, electronics and decor items.

Panda Cares, which is the philanthropic arm of Panda Restaurant Group, provided a large grant for the project. Nationally, Panda creates safe spaces where youth can learn, play, and receive the necessary support to become their best selves.

A local TV station helped commemorate the opening with a story featuring local teens and center director Zuri Rosales.
