Rotary District 5400 is pleased to launch Ignite, its inaugural leadership program. Applications are open through November 1. This immersive eight-week experience will help participants inspire others, foster growth, and increase their impact within Rotary and beyond. The Process:
The program is limited to 25 participants. Clubs may nominate members or encourage them to apply, and each sponsoring club must be prepared to cover the $235 program fee. The program fee covers food, materials, and training.
Clubs are encouraged to think broadly about potential participants: a past leader who would welcome a new opportunity or a member with leadership potential who may not yet see themselves as a leader. Regardless of background, participants will gain practical skills and relationships they can use within Rotary and beyond.
The Details:
The program begins with a mandatory half-day, in-person session in Twin Falls on March 7, 2027. Six virtual Monday evening sessions will follow from March 8 through April 12, with each session lasting 60 to 90 minutes. Ignite concludes with a final session and graduation at the District Conference in Boise on April 24, 2027. Participants must attend both in-person sessions and may miss no more than one peer-coaching session.
The curriculum focuses on four areas: leading self, leading others, leading teams, and leading for impact. Sessions will combine instructional content with peer coaching.
